Accessibility

Our website aims to be as accessible as possible and aims to comply with recognised web standards and UK Government guidelines regarding accessibility, including DDA Compliance.

Ease of use

This site’s layout takes into account users who are visually impaired or have difficulties using a mouse. It is fully compatible with popular screen reading software, and can be navigated easily using just a keyboard. The main menu items’ accesskeys are denoted in the link title and, to save confusion, each menu category has an index where each of the section’s links can be viewed seperately with unique accesskeys.

Please note that unless otherwise stated all links will open within the same browser window.

Standards

The site adheres to the WAI guidelines and many pages on this site score Triple A rating. Exceptions to this are some areas which may only conform to Single A rating and documents provided in other formats which may not conform. Producing accessible pages requires valid mark-up. This site uses XHTML 1.0 Transitional and CSS 1.0 or greater for all its pages, and is allowed to use the following symbols on all its pages:

Valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional Valid CSS! Level Double-A conformance icon, W3C-WAI Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0

Accessibility and PDF documents

You should be able to use the free Acrobat reader to view the PDF files on this website. However, Adobe have developed an online conversion tool to allow users to view PDF documents as HTML or plain ASCII text.

Commitment to Accessibility

If you find a page on this site that is not accessible, please inform us and we will have our inhouse design team and dedicated DDA Compliance team at PinBellCom Ltd assess and amend as necessary. You can rest assured that we take accessibility very seriously.
